Fill in the numbers — per-keeper cost and remaining attempts appear here.

The math behind it

  1. Total spend = price per run × attempts.
  2. Cost per keeper = total spend ÷ images you actually kept — the number that matters when pricing client work or a hobby budget.
  3. Budget left = budget − total spend; attempts left = budget left ÷ price per run (rounded down). Negative means overspent.

Why per-keeper cost surprises people

Runs bill, keepers deliver

Ten runs at ¥0.30 is ¥3 — but if only two images are usable, each keeper cost ¥1.50. That is the figure to quote against.

Manual prices, on purpose

Platform pricing changes constantly and varies by plan tier and region — a stale built-in price table would lie to you. Your actual billing page is the source of truth.

Stop-loss built in

Fill in the budget field and the tool shows attempts left — when it hits zero, that is the honest signal to change the prompt or model, not to run ten more.

Frequently asked questions

Why compute cost per accepted image?

Gacha-style generation charges per run, not per keeper — run 10 batches and keep 2, and each keeper costs half your total spend, not half a run. This tool spreads cost across accepted images.

Where does the price come from?

You type it in. Nothing is fetched and no price list is maintained — enter whatever your platform actually charges.

How do batches work?

“Images per run” is how many images one run produces (e.g. 4 for a Midjourney grid); “accepted” is how many you keep.

What does the budget field do?

It adds two outputs: money left and attempts left. Overspending shows a negative number so you know to stop.

What if I kept zero images?

Per-image cost is undefined then — the tool says “no keepers yet” instead of inventing a number.
