Animated GIF — every frame is composited, transparency kept

Load a GIF — every frame appears below with its delay.

How splitting works

  1. Load a GIF. The file is decoded locally — partial frames, disposal modes and transparency are composited exactly like a browser does.
  2. Browse the grid. Each tile shows one frame and its delay in milliseconds.
  3. Download. Grab a single frame as PNG, or the whole sequence as one ZIP — files named in order.

Frequently asked questions

Will frames have ghosting or misalignment?

No. Each frame is composited per the GIF spec — partial frames, disposal modes and transparency handled — so every PNG is the complete image at that moment, not a raw fragment.

Is transparency preserved?

Yes — exported PNGs keep the alpha channel for further editing.

How many frames are supported?

Up to 500 frames is the recommended limit; trim long GIFs with the cutter first.

Are files uploaded?

No — decoding and PNG export stay in your browser.
