Speed

Rewrites each frame's delay — the file itself plays faster.

Load a GIF and pick a speed.

How speed changing works

  1. Load. Per-frame delays are read from the file.
  2. Pick a multiplier. 2× halves every delay, 0.5× doubles them — rhythm is kept proportional.
  3. Export. Frames re-encode with the new delays; pixels are untouched.

Frequently asked questions

Does speeding up hurt quality?

No — only frame delays change; pixels are untouched.

What's the fastest possible?

Delays bottom out around 20ms (browsers clamp shorter delays anyway) — roughly 50fps max.

My GIF has uneven frame delays — what then?

Each delay is scaled proportionally, so the original rhythm is kept: slow parts stay relatively slow.

Are files uploaded?

No — everything runs locally in your browser.
