How delivery checking works
- Drop the image — JPEG or PNG, processed entirely on your device.
- Set the target — type exact pixels and/or a KB cap, or pick a platform preset to autofill dimensions.
- Run the check — every requirement gets its own pass/fail line with actual vs target.
- Fix in one click — crop-to-fill or pad-to-fit to exact pixels, then compress under the cap. If the cap is unreachable, the report says so instead of faking a pass.
Fix modes compared
Crop to fill
Scales until the target is covered, then trims the overflow — the whole frame is picture, at the cost of losing edges. Best for feeds and covers.
Fit with padding
Scales the whole image inside the target and pads the remainder white — nothing is cropped. Best for product shots and ID photos.
Honest failure
Some targets are physically impossible — a 50KB cap on a detailed PNG, say. You get the smallest achievable file plus a clear “not met” flag, never a fake green check.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the compressor?
The compressor only shrinks file size; this tool first audits — dimensions, file size and format checked against your target line by line, then fixes the misses in one click. Built for pre-handoff QA.
Which formats are supported?
JPEG and PNG only for now — the two formats delivery flows actually accept. Convert WebP/GIF/HEIC first with the converter tools.
Does fixing alter the picture?
Two modes: “Crop to fill” scales up and trims the overflow; “Fit with padding” scales down and adds white margins. Both output exact target pixels — never stretched.
What if the KB limit is unreachable?
JPEG quality is stepped down to its floor first. If the lowest quality still exceeds your cap, the report says so plainly and shows the smallest size achieved — no fake pass.
What if a PNG exceeds the size cap?
PNG is lossless and has no quality dial. The fixer tries PNG first; if it cannot fit, it switches to JPG (padding transparency to white) and flags the format change on the result.
Are images uploaded?
No — checking, cropping and compression all run locally in your browser.
